This page is to advise inquiries for hiring Georgina for live music performances. Georgina solely performs in non – public settings for charities or venues for health patients on solo violin and guitar. Queries regarding private hire bookings for functions are below:
1. How far in advance do I need to book?
Ideally a minimum of 28 days is required to book for live events. Less days are possible depending on the nature of the inquiry.
2. Do you charge by the hour?
Yes. Georgina charges per hour and the minimum booking time is 1 hour with music played in sets of 45 minutes with short breaks for longer events.
3. Is there a contract?
Please state the postcode of the venue on inquiry to give an accurate quote. All performances are booked by contract sent by the musician to the organiser of the event. Fees are required in advance, in full, to secure the booking.
4. Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes. Documentation can be provided on request.
5. Do you do requests?
Georgina can provide up to 2 song requests for inquiries, please give her at least 21 days notice. Depending on the songs requested, a small cost may incur in addition to the fee. Her music list ranges from classical, Spanish, latin American to rock, pop and folk favourites. A song list can be sent on request. Particular ‘themed’ music can also be offered again please give 21 days notice for this request.
6. What do I need to provide the musician?
A mains lead socket/extension to area of performance which isn’t shared by other electrical sources.
1 armless chair (guitar)
1 Car parking space.
Weatherproof performance area (shaded and water tight) if the event is outdoors event. E.g. Garden party, receptions.
2m x 2m clear performance space
7. Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes all the terms are in the contract fully explained – a sample is below:
If the organiser / promoter cancels the performance for whatever reason, the promoter shall immediately notify the Artist of this in writing. If the artist has been paid the full fees and expenses in advance for the performance the artist will return cancellation payment to the promoter in relation to the length of written notice given.
